July 24 2020: Geodiversitas mémorial to Stéphane Peigné
On December 4, 2017, our colleague and friend Stéphane Peigné passed away at the age of 44 after a long struggle against disease. Stéphane obtained his PhD in our laboratory and then joined the CNRS within the same research unit. He thenmoved to the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris a few years later. During his early career, he became one of the world-most prominent specialist in the evolution of carnivores.
This month, the journal Geodiversitas pays tribute to Stéphane by publishing a collection of scientific articles (in open access here) written by colleagues from all around the world and dealing with the evolution from carnivore mammals from the Cenozoic.
We all keep in memory a passionate researcher and a friend who was always cheerful and kind.
