PALEVOPRIM and its different projects own a large amount of equipment dedicated to field operations (from small tools to generator), but our lab also has a collective expertise in planning and conducting fieldwork in challenging places. This expertise includes the administrative and material preparation, work with local authorities, knowledge of transport types (all-terrain vehicles, on-road and off-road driving), implementation of security and hygiene rules associated with stays in lightly-built camps in wild tropical zones, methods for prospecting and acquiring data (satellite imagery, excavations, etc.).
