Main research question
The main focus of my research is to characterize the environments and habitat of the anthropoid primates from Myanmar and evaluate the impact of the environmental factors on the evolution these primates.
Topics of study
I work on the fossil anthropoid primates from the Pondaung Formation and Irrawaddy Formation in Myanmar. Using stable isotope and dental microwear textural analysis I will describe the paleoecological features and the paleoenvironment of the mammalian communities in which these primates evolved.
