Main research question
My research focuses on exploring the spatial dynamics of Plio-Pleistocene communities in the Northern Great African Rift, examining their relationships with global and regional factors.
Topics of study
I aim to investigate how large mammal diversity evolved across space and time and how these communities responded to environmental changes. To achieve this, I will employ taxonomic diversity and ecomorphological analyses, alongside stable isotope and dental wear studies. Furthermore, I aim to contextualize potential differences in local habitats and endemism within paleo-communities across formations in the Turkana Basin and the Main Ethiopian Rift.
