General research focus
My work focuses on acquiring surface data from scans of modern primate teeth as part of the ANR DieT-PrimE project.
I specialize in extracting the enamel capsule using Avizo software, followed by orienting the tooth in 3D space with Geomagic software.
The goal is to build up an additionaldatabase, with a particular emphasis on incorporating orangutan teeth. This database aims to facilitate the study of adaptations related to food consumption and mastication within an evolutionary framework.
